Saku Mind 2.1

Saku is an innovative wellbeing application that emphasizes the restorative benefits of nature on mental and physical health.

Inspired by the Enso Circle, a principle from Japanese Zen teachings, Saku represents a unique moment where the mind can freely inspire the body. It aims to cultivate an interconnected space between mind, body, and nature, facilitating activities that foster both personal wellbeing and environmental mindfulness. The name “Saku,” meaning “to bloom” in Japanese, encapsulates the app's ethos, encouraging users to re-focus and rejuvenate while exploring themselves and their surroundings.

The app incorporates the “5 Ways of Wellbeing,” a framework developed by the New Economics Foundation and supported by the NHS and MIND mental health charity. These principles encompass:

Saku offers a thoughtfully curated selection of activities aimed at engaging users with each of the 5 Ways of Wellbeing. Upon completing an activity, users receive unique collectibles related to each principle. Collecting all five elements allows users and their avatars to grow together, reinforcing the journey toward individual and collective wellness.
