Inspired by the Enso Circle, a principle from Japanese Zen teachings, Saku represents a unique moment where the mind can freely inspire the body. The name “Saku,” meaning “to bloom” in Japanese, encapsulates the app's ethos, encouraging users to re-focus and rejuvenate while exploring themselves and their surroundings.
The app incorporates the “5 Ways of Wellbeing,” a framework developed by the New Economics Foundation and supported by the NHS and MIND mental health charity. These principles encompass:

Saku offers a thoughtfully curated selection of activities aimed at engaging users with each of the 5 Ways of Wellbeing. Upon completing an activity, users receive unique collectibles related to each principle.
